The Carnavalet museum dedicated to the history of Paris and its inhabitants, holds collections that illustrate the evolution of the city from prehistoric times to the present day.
It has a hundred rooms in a wide range of works of art, memorabilia and models showing the appearance of the city at various times and referring its daily and intellectual life.
The musée Carnavalet is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
